HOW
WE CAN HELP
In contrast
to traditional "managing change" or "diversity
training" programs, Journey to Newland™
integrates the core capabilities of leading change, developing
leaders, building teams, valuing differences, and optimizing
communication into an eight-stage process that can transform
your awareness, behavior, and culture-depending on your commitment
level. Within a single session you can begin to learn valuable
skills that can last a lifetime… and because complex,
intangible concepts are symbolized in a simple, tangible story,
it's surprisingly simple to grasp.
Journey
to Newland Story Book: A Roadmap for Transformational Change™
is a storybook and movie written by LifeLead International's
president, Bill Poole. It provides a common,
symbolic language that's easy to remember with
adaptable, practical
content that's easy to grasp. The depth and speed
of the impact is truly amazing, and you can achieve dynamic
results in almost any personal, team, or organizational environment.

Journey
to Newland: A Roadmap for Transformational Change™ (Common,
Symbolic Language)
Imagine
a story that can captivate a fourth grader yet has the depth
to develop executives at Coca-Cola. Journey to Newland:
A Roadmap for Transformational Change™ is an enlightening
animated story that reveals the rewards of leading change
and the benefits of valuing differences within others. It
provides symbolic situations and a cast of animal characters
to reveal complex concepts for building leadership and
change capability.
To verify
story concept effectiveness, LifeLead solicited feedback from
clients and also funded an independent,
third party focus group on the Journey to Newland
story (under its original pre-publication title, Globaland)
and found that:
- 100% said it had a story line that is easy to understand
- 96% said that they could relate the characters to people
they work with
- 86% said it would be received well in their organization
- 78% said it would be an effective training method in their
organization
